The Challenge
As USC Union prepared to celebrate its 60th Anniversary, the university needed a custom logo that would not only commemorate the milestone but also complement the launch of their newly established Alumni Association. Both logos needed to feel unified, timeless, and campus-specific — reflecting school pride while remaining flexible enough to use across digital and print platforms.
The university wanted a look that would resonate with Bantams past and present, while staying true to their official school colors and recognizable branding elements.
Our Approach
We began by immersing ourselves in USC Union’s brand identity, including its history, student life, and architectural landmarks. To create a personal connection between the logos and the community they serve, we developed a custom illustration of one of the university’s most iconic campus buildings. This hand-drawn visual became the heart of both logo designs.
The 60th Anniversary logo was designed to mark a significant moment in time — bold, celebratory, and reflective of the university’s growth and tradition. Meanwhile, the Alumni Association logo was created for ongoing use, designed with versatility in mind for alumni materials, merchandise, and campus events.
Throughout the process, we ensured every detail — from line weight to color matching — aligned with USC Union’s established visual identity and communicated professionalism, pride, and connection.
The Outcome
The final logos are both visually impactful and deeply personal. Each design celebrates the spirit of USC Union while maintaining the flexibility needed for real-world application across a wide range of materials — from signage and apparel to social media and event collateral.
These logos have already made their debut across campus and are being proudly showcased during the university’s 60th Anniversary Celebration Week. We’re honored to have played a role in helping USC Union mark this important chapter and build momentum for the future of its Alumni Association.
