Spartanburg’s first-ever Cocktail Masters is taking place Friday, August 4, 2023, at the 1881 Event Hall in Downtown Spartanburg (805 Spartan Blvd., Spartanburg, SC 29301), from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Featuring over 15 local bars/restaurants, we will see whose got the mixology expertise to make the best cocktail in Spartanburg. With fun for the whole family, including a corresponding mocktail competition, Cocktail Masters is a drink-tasting event featuring live music, local vendors, games, and food!
Our owner, Lanie Carter had the pleasure of working with Santiago Mariani (Berkshire Hathaway Realty / GoSpartanburg) and Lauren Russo (City of Spartanburg Police Officer), to found the inaugural event and to created the logo and marketing materials. Along with our creative assistance, Arrowhead and our partner company, Burg Apparel, opted in as Top-Shelf Sponsors of the event. And the lime on the rim of it all – Mehgan, our Brand Manager, is one of the judges voting for the tastiest cocktail in Spartanburg!
While engaging in the community and advocating for the artistry that is cocktail making in Spartanburg, we are also happy to extend our support to our clients involved in the event. Spartan Waste is the Premier Sponsor of the event, taking on an integral role in making the event happen, and Rockers Brewing Co. and the Spartanburg Marriott will vie for the prestigious title of best cocktail in Spartanburg.
The benefit supports Hubitality, a non-profit that supports hospitality industry employees in Spartanburg.
Event Information:
Tickets will be sold the day of the event at the front entrance of the 1881 Event Hall. To participate in the tasting portion of the event, you must be 21+ with a valid ID upon arrival. While spectators taste, the judges will vote on the cocktails the participating local restaurants and bars create.
